Wire Antennas near Artificial Impedance Surfaces.

摘要

The operation of artificial impedance surfaces as screens between mobile phone antennas and the head is considered. It is established that structures with moderate values of the surface impedance provide a possibility to use screens of reasonably small sizes, with a trade-off of a certain reduction in the antenna gain.
