Optical Fiber Power Meter Calibrations at NIST

NIST has established measurement services for the calibration of optical fiberpower meters as the three nominal wavelengths of 850, 1300, and 1550 mm using either collimated beam or optical fiber/connector configurations. This paper describes the measurement standards, techniques, systems, and uncertainties involved with the NIST optical fiber power meter calibration services.
