Aquifer Test to Determine Hydraulic Properties of the Elm Aquifer near Aberdeen,South Dakota

The purpose of this report is to provide information about the Elm aquifer thatmight be helpful in the possible development of the aquifer as a water resource. This is accomplished by describing historical water levels in the Elm aquifer, describing the aquifer test used to determine the general hydraulic properties of the Elm aquifer in the vicinity of Well A, and describing the analysis of the aquifer test. Also, the results of hypothetical equilibrium drawdown calculations based on a range of hydraulic properties and pumping scenarios are presented.
