Modellering av Tradstyrning i Simuleringsmodellen MUMS(Modelling of Wire-Guidance in the Simulation Model MUMS).

With an earlier version of a computer model MUMS only duels between autonomous torpedoes and ships protected by earlier countermeasures can be simulated. Swedish torpedoes are however wire-guided. In the future also wire-guidance can be expected to be used in many other high performance torpedoes. For this reason the model MUMS has been further developed to include also wire-guidance. The performed development means that wire-guided torpedoes launched from submarines with passive sonars can be studied by simulations.
