摘要

The main task of this research is to find SO2 adsorbents that protect CeO2 andsulfate reversibly during the TWC operation. This year the authors designed the protected oxide chemistry (POC) and evaluated three materials: CuO, Mn2O3, and CuMn2O4. The three stages of the POC process: sulfation, reduction, and reoxidation for CuO, Mn2O3, and CuMn2O4 in mixture with CeO2 are illustrated.
