Educational Attainment and Success in the New Economy: An Analysis of Challengesfor Improving Hispanic Students' Achievement

This report focuses on education and the rewards to education among Hispanics inthe United States. It documents the gaps in educational outcomes for Hispanics relative to non-Hispanic whites. The study also provides evidence about the increasing importance of education to the economic success of Hispanics in the new economy, focusing particularly on a high-paying, rapidly expanding sector, information technology (IT).
