Studies on Supramolecular Fusible Polyaniline Systems

摘要

Many industrial applications have emerged during the last 20 years for polymersthat are intrinsically electrically conductive. For most of these applications, the conductive form of polyaniline is especially attractive due to its stability and low manufacturing cost. However, its application as such is difficult since conductive polyaniline is infusible and poorly soluble. Th is occurs mainly because of its rigid structure and large Coulombic attraction between the conductive polymer chains. The aim of this study is to find ways to make electrically conductive polyaniline processable, by applying polyaniline in commercial applications.
