Two-Dimensional Imaging and Effective Inversion of Buried Objects: Blind Experimental Verification.

A two-dimensional algorithm, which combines imaging and effective inversion of Ground Penetrating Radar data, is presented. The effective inversion algorithm is extended from a single circular scatterer to a scattering model consisting of multiple cylinders with arbitrary cross-section. In this paper both realizations of the algorithm are verified against experimental data from plastic antipersonnel landmines obtained with a standard bi-static GPR.
