Absorption Spectroscopy of Carbon Monoxide in a Mixture of Carbon Dioxide.

Absorption spectroscopy in the infrared region has been compared to absorption spectroscopy in the microwave region theoretically with respect to which useful areas they can be used. Experiments have also been performed where a tuneable diode laser was used to measure the 3-p band of carbon monoxide in a mixture of carbon dioxide. Several spectra were obtained and the absorption lines were identified, both for carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.
