DUI Countermeasures in California: What Works and What Doesn't with Recommendations for Legislative Reform

This report examines existing scientific evidence regarding sanctions, programs, and countermeasures that have proven statistically significantly and substantively effective in reducing alcohol-impaired driving. These countermeasures are grouped by those that are driver-based, those that are vehicle-based, and other countermeasures impacting alcohol-impaired driving.
