The proposed action is NOAA Fisheries evaluation and determination as to whether a Resource Management Plan (RMP) for Ozette Lake sockeye salmon (Oncorhynchus nerka) submitted jointly by the Makah Tribe and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW), as the fisheries resource co-manager, addresses the criteria specified in NOAA Fisheries Endangered Species Act (ESA) section 4(d) Rule Limit 6, 50 CFR 223.203 (b)(6) (4(d) Rule) and would not appreciably reduce the likelihood of survival and recovery of Ozette Lake sockeye salmon listed under the ESA.
