摘要

This report describes estimates of daily ozone (maximum 8-hour average) and PM2.5 (24-hour average) concentrations throughout the contiguous United States during the 2011 calendar year generated by EPA's recently developed data fusion method termed the "downscaler model" (DS). Air quality monitoring data from the State and Local Air Monitoring Stations (SLAMS) and numerical output from the Community Multiscale Air Quality (CMAQ) model were both input to DS to predict concentrations at the 2010 US census tract centroids encompassed by the CMAQ modeling domain. Information on EPA's air quality monitors, CMAQ model, and downscaler model is included to provide the background and context for understanding the data output presented in this report. These estimates are intended for use by statisticians and environmental scientists interested in the daily spatial distribution of ozone and PM2.5.
