Sanitation of the Bay and City of Panama Engineering Report and Implementation Plan

The Government of Panama (GOP) conducted several studies regarding wastewater treatment in Panama City and Panama Bay, or CMP. In addition, the GOP created the Coordinating Unit (CU) in the Ministry of Health to work specifically on the implementation of the Panama Bay Cleanup Project. The USTDA was approached to assist in funding specific complementary studies to supplement the CMP. Hazen and Sawyer was retained by the CU to conduct the four complimentary studies necessary to obtain funding from the multilateral lending agencies interested in the project. The TDA approved funding for the following studies: Wastewater Flow Monitoring and Sampling Study.
