The report is a historical treatise on the ancient cult of water, stone and heavenly bodies, notably the Sun, Moon and planets, compiled from personal notes, literature and other sources accumulated during a conference trip to London and Oxford and two day off to Bath and Stonehenge in Wales and South England. In London the author attended two conferences, ACE 2000 held on May 18-19 2000 held in the Science Museum London and the National Physical Laboratory (NPL), Teddington, hosted by the British Society for the History of Science, the Computer Conservation Society, the Alan Turing Archive for the History of Computing and the Turing Project, University of Canterbury, New Zealand, and Hyper computation, a One Day Workshop held at University College, London, Department of Computer Science, on 24 May 2000, organized jointly by the Turing Project and the Department of Philosophy, University of Reading.
