Prostate Cancer Knowledge, Beliefs, and Screening.

This descriptive/cross-sectional study tested a prostate cancer research instrument in a military population of African American men aged 45 years and older. The objectives were to identify the socioeconomic and demographic characteristics of those who agreed to participate in the study and to evaluate the overall responses to the research instrument.
