Evaluation of Saliva/Oral Fluid as an Alternate Drug Testing Specimen. Final Report

The report presents findings from a study to determine whether saliva/oral fluid is suitable specimen for drug testing in the criminal justice system. The study involved a literature review; a report based on findings from the review; and a clinical study, using codeine as a model drug, to assess the practical problems of collecting and analyzing oral fluid samples.
