Rocky Mountain Regional Care Model for Bioterrorist Events. Bioterrorism and Other Public Health Emergencies

The purpose of the Rocky Mountain Regional Care Model for Bioterrorist Event (RMBT) for Federal Region VIII (Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, and Utah) is to address medical surge capacity needs in the event of a bioterrorist incident. The overarching purpose of this report is to present an exportable surge capacity model that includes exportable tools for regional bioterrorism planners and decision makers at the national, state, local, and provider level.
