摘要

Under this grant the Heller Graduate School developed 11 different short format courses designed to extend and enrich our Ph.D. program. Over two years there were 152 enrollments in these courses. The Heller School has decided to institutionalize this type of course offering, although it is probable that course length will be increased slightly. This decision was based on (a) enrollment figures$ (b) on strong positive feedback from a survey of students$ (c) a positive evaluation of the effort from the faculty and (d) a policy decision from the Ph.D. Committee that a short course approach is a valuable addition to the Heller School's educational offerings.
