Biomechanical/Sensory Motor Functions after Concussion

The overall goals of this research project are to longitudinally quantify deficits in the maintenance of dynamic stability during locomotion and in sensory motor functions of individuals following a concussion and to establish recovery curves of these measurements form the time of injury. The specific aims of this one-year grant were to demonstrate the feasibility of our proposed study design (particularly in regards to adequate subject recruitment) and to generate sufficient data to justify a long-term funding.
