摘要

The objective of this study is to outline recommendations for policy, regulatory and legislative initiatives on both the federal and state levels to facilitate the near-term commercialization and deployment of coal gasification technology in the US power industry. An important task in our study is to identify and rank the most significant institutional barriers to rapidly commercializing and deploying coal gasification technology in the power industry. We plan to accomplish this using the following survey instrument that is being distributed to a group of approximately 140 experts and stakeholders in industry, government and research institutions.
