NIST-SFPE Workshop for Development of a National R&D Roadmap for Structural Fire Safety Design and Retrofit of Structures: Proceedings

This report describes the results of the workshop sponsored by the National Institute of Standards and Technologys Building and Fire Research Laboratory that was held on October 2 and 3, 2003 in Baltimore, MD. The workshop was planned to assist with the development of a research and development roadmap for structural fire safety design and retrofit of structures. This report summarizes the content of nine contextual white papers prepared for the workshop and the process and results of the industry discussion and prioritization that took place.
