Reclamation: Managing Water in the West. Cool Cave Quarry Public Safety, Land Reclamation and Mining Lease Project. Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact.

The U.S Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) proposes to enter into a 10 year lease with Teichert Aggregates (Teichert), for 16 acres of Federal land adjacent to the Cool Cave Quarry. The lease would allow for limestone removal and reclamation and stabilization of previously mined areas. The potential environmental effects of entering the lease are described in this document in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Reclamation is the NEPA lead agency for this action.
