NCES collects statistical data on all levels of education from preprimary education through graduate study, including adult education. NCES surveys address a full range of education issues including student access, participation, and progress; achievement and attainment of students; organization and management of education institutions; curriculum, climate, and diversity of education institutions; and financial and human resources of institutions, as well as economic and other outcomes of education. The surveys engage a broad spectrum of people and institutions involved in education.
