摘要

The issue of dementia is assuming a relevance in terms of public health, dimension of the problem and impact for the health systems. The Alzheimer.s Disease Units are the specialistic centres in the national health system involved in the management of patients affected by dementia. The aim of the convention is to supply a national picture on research activity and socio-health assistance from these specialistic clinical centres. Moreover this event intends to promote the relationship between professional figures involved in the management of patients affected by dementia (physicians, psyschologists, reabilitationists, socio-health assistants) with the aim to promote an integrated management of different competences.
