摘要

Gulf of Maine Coastal Program (GOMCP) is collaborating with conservation partners to implement cooperative conservation projects and to protect and restore priority diadromous fish habitat in Maine. Over the last decade, GOMCP has been actively involved in partnerships to complete more than 135 on-the-ground projects that benefit diadromous fish. These projects have led to the permanent protection of 86,191 acres and 424 miles of riparian corridor, and restored more than 10,000 acres and 1,363 river-miles. Gulf of Maine Coastal Program has accessed $11.5 million in USFWS and NFWF funds, matched 2:1 with non-federal funds.
