This report provides information on Barbados's regulatory environment as it relates to imports of U.S. food and beverage products. Despite having certain licensing requirements for selected products and extensive labeling requirements for most foodstuffs, U.S. suppliers will find Barbados to be a relatively open market for most U.S. products. However, special attention should be paid to date marking requirements which can differ from those in the United States, particularly those relating to the date of manufacture.
