State Governments' Use of Help America Vote Act Funds, 2007. A Report to the 110th Congress of the United States

The Help America Vote Act of 2002 (HAVA) allocated funds for all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam and American Samoa (hereinafter referred to as States) to improve the Federal voting process with new technologies and increased information and access for voters, election officials and poll workers. This report provides details on HAVA election reform funds received and spent by each State and related information regarding the administration and monitoring of HAVA election reform funds.
