This report presents data for 2005 on checkbox items exclusive to the 2003 U.S. Standard Certificate of Live Birth. Information is shown for checkboxes in the Following categories: Risk factors in the this pregnancy. Obstetric procedures, Characteristics of labor and delivery.. Methods of delivery, Abmormal conditions of the newborn and Congehital aomalies of the newbortn. These categories are included on both in 1989 and the 2003 U.S. Sandrad Certificate of Live Birth; however, many of the specific checkbox items were modified, or are new to the 2003 certificate. Data on selected new checkbos items are presented in this report.
