A Workshop on Transforming Regenerative Medicine: An Interdisciplinary Approach was held on May 1920, 2008, in Bethesda, Maryland, by the National Institutes of Health. The primary objective of this critical workshop was to bring together leaders in the multiple fields that constitute regenerative medicine to explore strategies for better coordinating biological knowledge, engineering technologies, and clinical needs, with resources, to promote transformation of regenerative medicine.
