National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) has released a pre-publication, non-edited version of Report 829: Leadership Guide for Strategic Information Management for State Departments of Transportation. The guidebook assists executives and managers with developing and maintaining an agency’s capability to provide timely, high-quality, mission-critical information. The guidebook includes components of an effective information governance strategy, techniques to assess an agency’s information-governance strategy and practices, and ways to implement procedures and methods for effective information management. A PowerPoint presentation accompanies the report.
