Report on the Regulatory Fexibility Act, FY 2008. Annual Report of the Chief Counsel for Advocacy on Implementation of the Regulatory Flexibility Act and Executive Order 13272

The report covers federal agencies FY 2008 compliance with the Regulatory Flexibility Act of 1980 (RFA) and Executive Order 13272, as well as Advocacys Regulatory Review and Reform (r3) initiative. The RFA requires agencies to review the prospective impact of proposed regulations on small entitiessmall businesses as well as small governmental jurisdictions and small nonpro tsand to consider signi - cant alternatives that minimize small entity impacts. Advocacy continues to make steady progress in its efforts to improve agency compliance with the RFA.
