This summary provides results of a March 2009 survey of occupational pay in the Wilmington, NC, Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). The MSA consists of Brunswick, New Hanover, and Pender Counties. Tabulations in this publication are limited to State and local government; future publications will include private industry. Data shown in this summary were collected as part of the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) National Compensation Survey (NCS). The NCS provides comprehensive measures of occupational earnings, compensation cost trends, benefit incidence, and detailed plan provisions. This summary is limited to data on occupational wages and salaries.
