United States Mint Report to Congress on Operations, Fourth Quarter FY 2009

This is the Fourth Quarter FY 2009 United States Mint Report to Congress on Operations. In a conference report to Public Law 104-52, enacted November 19, 1995, which created the United States Mint Public Enterprise Fund (PEF), Congress directed the United States Mint to report quarterly on implementation of the PEF. This report is designed to fulfill that requirement. FY 2009 fourth quarter total revenue decreased 17 percent from the same quarter last year, as eight percent growth in bullion revenue offset 47 percent and 27 percent declines in circulating and numismatic revenue, respectively.
