Results of Limited Scope Review of Northwest Health Services, Inc

Established in 1983, Northwest Health Services, Inc. (NHS), is a Federally-Qualified Health Center located in northwest Missouri. It currently serves over 30,000 patients in northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas at 16 service sites covering 10 counties. NHS offers medical services including family practice, pediatrics, internal medicine, radiology, laboratory services, dental services, pharmacy services, and mental health services. Our objective was to assess NHSs financial viability, capacity to manage and account for Federal funds, and capability to operate a community health center in accordance with Federal regulations.
