In 2009, the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR), through a cooperative agreement with the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services (NJDHSS) prepared a Public Health Assessment for the Sherwin-Williams/Hilliards Creek site. Additional data have been collected on contaminant levels in soil gas, indoor air and potable private wells. The NJDHSS prepared this Health Consultation (HC) to review and evaluate exposure pathways associated with soil gas, indoor air and potable well water. ATSDR and NJDHSS's top priority is to ensure that the community around the site has the best information possible to safeguard its health.
