Cultural Landscape Report for Glenmont, Thomas Edison National Historical Park West Orange, new Jersey

As part of Thomas Edison National Historical Park, Glenmont is located within the historic residential community of Llewellyn Park, in the township of West Orange, New Jersey, approximately fifteen miles of New York City. The 15.67-acre estate (historic portion comprises 13.54 acres) reflects the history of the Edison family, as well as early community planning. The Glenmont grounds include the Edison home, gravesite, garage, swimming pool, barn, greenhouse, potting shed and gardener's cottage, and a variety of native and exotic trees and shrubs.
