The Quinault Indian Nation (QIN) is honored to present this summary of Quinault aggregate re-sources. The sovereign Quinault Indian Nation is located on the Olympic Peninsula, west of the city of Seattle, Washington. The huge QIN aggregate resource is the only remaining uncommitted large near-shore sand and gravel source on the West Coast of the lower United States. The aggregate resources are composed primarily of extensive glacial outwash deposits of sand and gravel, with supplemental potential identified in the form of various basalt deposits. The Quinault Indian Nation is seeking a company to lease or joint-venture portions of their land with the primary objective of mining and producing high quality construction aggregate materials.
