The Commission instituted this investigation on January 5, 2010, based on a complaint filed on December 1, 2009, by Analog Devices, Inc. of Norwood, Massachusetts. The complaint, as supplemented, alleged violations of section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended, 19 U.S.C. Section 1337, in the importation into the United States, the sale for importation, and the sale within the United States after importation of certain microelectromechanical systems ('MEMS') devices and products containing the same reason of infringement of certain claims of United States Patent Nos. 7,220,614 (the 614 patent) and 7,364,492 (the 942 patent).
