Report on The Accuracy of the Gamma-Radiography Exposure Slide Rule Specification of Film for Gamma Esdiography

The characteristic density vs. log exposure curves for four typical commercial radiographic films were determined. From these curves the exposure times required to produce a density of 1.25 were determined and used to compute the following table of factors.nThe present Navy specifications for commercial radiographic films have been examined and a revision, classifying these and defining fair performance specifications, has been suggested.
