A visit was made to the Edelstahlwerke, Krefeld, Germany. Several discussions were also held with Dr. H. Gehm recent President and owner of the plant and a resident at 65 Durerstrasse of Krefeld.nThe Edelstahlwerke represented apparently one of Germany’s leading alloy and tool steel mills. A study of the high alloy steel manufactured there and the inventory of raw materials indicates that this mill was probably favored by the Dermas in the disposition of the necessary alloys for alloy steel production.
