Final Report on 'Residual Stresses in Ship Welding'(NS-304)

The project known as NRC-64, Residual Stresses in Ship Wolding, was started In July, 1943, with the purpose of studying the residual stresses which exist in ships as a result of welding. Since very few date were available regarding the subject, several general ideas governing the procedure were agreed upon.
