INVESTIGATION OF DANNENBERG V-l ASSEMBLY PLANT

Investigation of a V-l assembly plant in the vicinity of Dannenberg, Germany, reported to be turning out both standard and new type buzz bombs incorporating facilities for human pilots, was made by NavTechMisEu exploitation team 11-13 May 19^5. The plant complex consisted of approximately 100 assembly buildings, which includes shops, warehouses, and explosive bunkers. It contained about 1,500 V-l's of five distinct types, (in an essentially finished state and various components for AH estimated 10,000 more) 100 FKl4OO bombs, and 20 unidentified articles (which appear to be of solid cast explosive, the shape of which is that of a boat hull, 18 feet by 28 Inches by 12 inches).
