The object of the trip we primarily to obtain information on the type of machinery, plant and technique used, at the above neared factories, and to obtain information on the results of their experience in this field.nSome of the information gained night be of direct use in the planning of future Tyre Cord projects in this country, although none of the systems was Ideal, possibly due to conditions in Germany over the last few years dictating largely the type of equipment used.
