THE MANUFACTURE OF SINTERED MAGNETS IN THE “MAGNETFABRIK DORTMUND” OF THE DEUTSCHE EDELSTAHLWERKE A. G. KREFELD

Information relating to CIOS Report (Item Ho. 21, Tile No.XXX-B) on sintered magnets has been recorded. The above mentioned report is very brief and gives no details. It covers the subject in only a few lines. At the time this report was written (July 1945) sintered magnets were produced by the Deutsche Edelstahlwerke A.G., Krefeld, Germany, exclusively in its plant at Reutte, Tyrol/Austria. This plant previously belonging to Germany (until the spring of 1945), is no longer connected with the Krefeld Company and sintered magnets are produced in another plant at Dortmund Germany.nOther production methods than those used in Reutte are employed. Their methods are covered in detail and compared with those of Reutte in the present report.
