Sixty pounds of Grade 46 material are on hand.nA reaction crucible of modified design is being constructed and will be tested shortly.nA study of the effect of mean size on the hot pressing of Grade 46 material provider is getting under way.nEfforts to coat a molybdenum bar with silicon using wax as a carrier were not successful. In removing the wax the silicon was also removed. The of an acetone-Lucite mixture as a carried for the silicon was also unsuccessful.
