A great deal of study has been devoted during the last few years to improved methods of grinding reamers, broaches, taps, drills, single point tools, etc., but none of these studies are more exhaustive, instructive, and complete than those pertaining to milling cutters. Some of the large Naval industrial estab¬lishments and a great many shops of modern industry have accepted noteworthy improvements in cutter sharpening practices in response to the requirements of ne« processes in their Billing machine departments.
