U. S. Navy Intercommunicating System Type 1A

This Intercommunicating System has been designed for two-way voice communication between two or more of the eleven stations which comprise the system. The maximum number of stations is eleven, although any number less than this can be interconnected to make up a complete system. By means of this system, a station can either pro transmit or receive messages. A very important feature is that a station will receive even when its power is turned off. Its power must be turned on in order to transmit messages.
