Minutes of the Streptomycin Conference (8th) Held at Fulton County Medical Society, Atlanta, Georgia on November 10-13, 1949

This volume records the proceedings of the eighth semiannual Streptomycin Conference, and presents the latest results of the Veterans Administration/Army/Navy cooperative study of the chemotherapy of tuberculosis. Data are included from a total of 7,000 treated cases in 42 hospitals. Methods for evaluating drugs and dosages useful in the treatment of tuberculous patients are discussed, together with research findings and further plans for the study.
