Such and similar improvements in the field of polishing and buffing have been described in the modern industrial press and a brief review of some of these improvements is presented on the following pages. It is, of course, impossible to cover the entire subject due to space limitations. Some of the basic fundamentals are presented, however, with ample references to ad¬ditional information in the bibliography which is obtainable upon request.
