Simplified concepts of the operation of the reentrant-cavity oscillator have been developed, and the techniques for their use in the design of an oscillator have been demon¬strated. Full advantage has been taken of the new RCA A2302 miniature coaxial triode in providing a basic design for a pulse transmitter in the 3000-Mc region suitable for a beacon or telemetering application.
